Adulting is the transition from being just a student, with little to no responsibility, to a full-fledged member of the society. This transition is challenging, with the newfound responsibilities and freedom that we were not used to. It is not rare for some to choose to run away from reality, delaying the inevitable.

In excel.vita, we hope to cover many topics and problems that are faced during adulting. Often, it is not that you cannot find adulting information online, but you need to know the topics and keywords to search for. Here, we will compile all the different topics and organise them into four main categories, which include but are not limited to finance, health, self-improvement and entertainment.

We consider finance to be an extremely important topic, especially with it being the major focus of everyone’s life. Regardless of how bitter the truth is, everything in this capitalistic world involves MONEY, especially if you wish to live a comfortable life. Therefore, financial literacy is an important knowledge everyone needs to know. Here, we hope to cover major finance management knowledge such as budgeting, insurance, investment and credit card.

We believe that as humans, to live is to grow. As young adults ourselves, we strive to continuously improve ourselves, to NEVER STOP learning and to hopefully grow into the best version of ourselves. To achieve these goals amidst your busy work schedules, good habits and prioritisation are inevitable, something we need to work on as well. We hope to share the strategies we tried to employ which help us to be better day by day, both in our professional and personal life. We hope to learn from you readers as well!

Another aspect that we deem important to discuss is health. When people are so driven in their pursuit of money and career, they tend to neglect their health. Us included. Eventually, we realise that the mindset that tends to only prioritise work is not sustainable. We hope to impart some advice that works for us to balance work and health.

Finally, to rest and recharge is also important to ensure that we do not burn out. Personally, it is important to us to have a hobby or a relaxing routine outside of work. Remember that life is a marathon and not a race. Let’s all strive for excel.vita together!
